Must have optional extra, new cars.

I think all new cars must have the capability to do this:

as an optional extra! ;)

Didn't exactly set the world alight in the early 1960s, when the idea first hit the market.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphicar

Despite a major advertising campaign:

http://www.amphicar.com/vintage.htm

I actually had a go in one back in the day - unless you had a passenger who weighed about the same as you, it heeled over alarmingly, and was almost impossible to steer.

And water still got into the footwells, so you couldn't stay afloat for long.

Otherwise, it was great. ;)

Well it was just an idea Oake, given how many 4x4 owners think they are invincible and always get themselves into trouble when places flood.

Have you been on Duck Tours in London?

I felt like Thames Bond while I was there.

I'd love to go on one of those Mac, the concept sounds most exciting.

Not a space saver or puncture kit. Come summer Barky you'll be saying air conditioned seats ;)
You are though absolutely right.

space saver OK, it's what I have ... some rough roads & edge of roads can literally shred tyres so the spray can option is going to get you stuck ... not much need for cooled seats

A reversing camera is pretty excellent and parking sensors if not seem to be what people want.

Personally I think all cars should come with a murdered out option.

I don't know how much one of these would cost as an optional extra.

I'll just thrown in this.
