I love this music though to call it music seems insulting to me and the next comment too,
I get's me toe tappping and wanting to dance everytime I hear rythmic islamic or arabic music.
That's why I post so much of it. I love it, above all else.
Had a discourse with an Islamic scholar once and brought it here as to the efficacy of Islamic music.
To me there doesn't seem to be a definitive definition as to whether music was initially
prohitibited as being un-islamic so the human voice was used.
Probably true, hence the muezzin and the human voice call to prayer.
No ringing of church bells there.

Anyway, does something for me, I could go on but I won't....something to do with a Bedouin wedding in morocco that lasted three days.
when I was akid. I don't know.

The Human Voice for those that have not listened:

Couldn't dance to this, even in my heyday. I'd prefer to just sit and listen.

This is something new I haven't heard before.
Opening track the backing track sounds like something from the passion.

I first got introduced to bossa nova when as a kid four or five years old I listened to it on one of these:

A Rigonda record player and radiogram. Those were the days :)
