New Bike
« on: June 08, 2014, 02:57:47 AM »
I should know better at my age but i've bought myself a motorbike after 25 years away from them. I'll post some pics this weekend. I'm having the time of my life and wish i hadn't wasted the last 25!

It's a BMW S1000RR if that means anything to anyone?

I once had a ride as a passenger on a 1000cc motorbike, BMW I think. It was probably one of the most unpleasant experience of my life. I just don't get it I suppose...

I'm too old to ride now, but my first time was on a 1937 Triumph twin, which belonged to a friend. The only thing that ever came close was the first time for something a little more intermate. I have a difficult time deciding which was the more pleasurable.
Buying the first bike, a 350 AJS, then lead to the second.
Nice bike by the way enjoy it.  8)

Someone was reading this thread and I am sorry for replying to it:

I looked into acquiring a new bike the other day. She turned me down :(

Sorry. I don't know where my vulgarity has come from of late, apologies.

Never had a motorcycle, don't fancy killing myself or otherwise falling off one at speed through no fault of my own.
Got one of these :)

Father had a BSA goldflash and other real real men on his side, nortans and a royal enfield.

Are you still alive?
Was it still the classic bwm opposed twin?

Knew someone once. He had an older brother who ejoyed riding his motorcycle, until one day he fell off and hit his head.
He got back onto a motorcycle again, but the knock on his head did something to him.
He then proceeded to ride his superbike as if it were a Tron Lightcycle.
Overtook me on a slip road OFF of the A38 dual carriageway here in Devon, he must have been doing 120mph.

Watch this and get your pulses racing! :)
