Centurion which was a lot better than I expected. Michael Fassbender was great in it.

The new one or the original?
The last film I went to the cinema to see ( I get told off if i call it going to the pictures lol) was the new 'Pirates of the Caribbean' which I found enjoyable enough. Mainly for one reason though.............................

The new one. I love the original and thought the new one would be weak, however, was pleasantly surprised, even though the ending's different...

I only ever go the pictures once a year, with my family in the school hols; I struggle to stay awake, but suppose I shouldn't have a large one beforehand. I made the mistake of calling it the flicks once....

I sat through the Karate Kid remake last night, because even though it was terrible i remembered how awesome the final scene, where Miyagi hits the rival sensei for slapping his beaten student. And despite it not being his best film, Jackie Chan is rather fantastic so i thought at least that bit would be worth watching.

But it doesn't happen in the remake. They even messed up the crane kick. Now it's some weird somersault that wouldn't be out of place on Guile's move list. Pathetic.

The Will Smith family have a habit of messing up great endings... though this wasn't as bad as the time it happened with I Am Legend.
