When did Scotland leave the Union?
« on: November 15, 2017, 10:26:58 AM »
It just goes to show how Brexit is over-shadowing everything else. It really is the only game in town.

However Theresa May's twitter account has posted this:

"The UK and Scotland must continue to work together to ensure businesses and consumers have the certainty they need as we leave the EU"

So when did Scotland leave the UK?

Or is it just a telling Freudian slip that reveals that she sees the UK as England and England alone?

There has been a very recent (& rare) meeting of May & Sturgeon in last day or so .... May is pretending to give a shit about devolved governments ... tiz an attempt to gloss over fact that brexit is rejected up here by politicians & public ... May ordering Scotland to comply & irritated that Scotland won't rubber stamp bill for transferring EU to UK law.

Union isn't strictly even legitimate as westminster side never fully complied with terms!
There were riots in the streets when union was signed ... don't forget!
