My new car
« on: June 13, 2017, 12:00:01 PM »
Well it's new to me.

I recently bought a 2 litre Rover 75, one of the last models Rover made.

It's like driving a jag.  Henyway I know the score  :whogives:  8)  :P

Nice motor.

When I see one of those on the road I always think: "there's a good looking car". Probably the last proper British design classic?

I seem to have it in my mind that they'll do 150 mph too which is pretty decent (not to mention highly illegal).

There must have been something wrong with it, or else Rover would surely have kept going, but I can't think what.

Right at the dog end of mechanical engineering dominance when now it is all chip controlled this and engine management system that... There used to be an art and character to the engineering now everything is so samey (mind you that said cars break down far less these days!).

Never had the chance to drive one.

nothing wrong with it .. I took it to my mechanics (been gong there for 20 years), they said it was a class car.

I love it

Trust me my car has everything, except ..... no I won't be so smutty  :perv:

When on the motorway it's like being in my lounge, love love love ... and I've always been a Hyundai/Toyota fan (jap or Korean engines)
